Deleting your data
How to remove your data from Heylane, whether you use Heylane or wrote to a business that does. See the privacy policy for what we keep and for how long.
If you use Heylane
- Facebook Page or Instagram account: in Heylane, open the account menu and choose Disconnect for the Page or the Instagram account. Its messages, contacts and access tokens are deleted from our servers at once. You can also remove Heylane in Facebook (Settings and privacy, Settings, Business integrations) or in Instagram's settings (Apps and websites).
- Gmail address: disconnect it in Heylane's account menu. We revoke Heylane's access at Google and delete its tokens. You can also remove Heylane in your Google Account.
- Draft history: Settings, AI replies, Draft history, Clear. You can also shorten how long it is kept, or turn it off.
- Your whole account: email info@heylane.ai from the address you sign in with. We delete your account and all its data within 30 days and confirm by email.
If you wrote to a business that uses Heylane
Your messages belong to that business, so you can ask them first. You can also email info@heylane.ai with the name of the Facebook Page or Instagram account you wrote to and your own Facebook or Instagram name. We delete your messages from Heylane within 30 days and confirm by email.
